Three Lobos are in the individual top 10 after the opening round. Albert Boneta, Carson Herron and Matthew Watkins all shot a 1-under 71 in the first round and are T-7th on the individual leaderboard. Bastien Amat and Connor Adams each shot a 1-over 73 to round out the UNM lineup.

“I am very happy with how consistent we played today in 20 mph win,” said head coach Jake Harrington. “It wasn’t easy out there, so to have three guys at 1-under and two at 1-over is a great start to the tournament.”
