Lobo Women’s Golf Returns to Action at The Show at Spanish Trail

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team travels to Las Vegas this week for The Show at Spanish Trail. The event will run Monday-Tuesday at the 6,537-yard, par-72 Spanish Trail Country Club.

The tournament will feature two rounds of play on Monday, followed by the final round on Tuesday. Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.

The tournament has an elite field of 12 schools, all ranked in the top 100 nationally, including seven in the top 40. The Lobos, ranked No. 73 nationally, will compete against No. 3 UCLA, No. 23 Pepperdine, No. 24 Virginia, No. 27 Purdue, No. 29 SMU, No. 31 Houston and No. 39 Tulsa. Host UNLV, along with Furman, Minnesota and Nevada round out the field.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Lauren Lehigh, Myah McDonald, Annie Saechueng, Maria Caparros Levin and Lisa-Marie Pagliano. Ciara Rushmer is competing in the event as an individual.

McDonald is the tournament’s defending champion, as she won her first collegiate title at last year’s event. The Lobos finished third at The Show in 2023.

New Mexico has two top-six finishes in their six events this season, finishing T-5th when it hosted the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational and a sixth place finish at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in its last event of the fall.
