ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The red-hot Lobo women’s tennis team takes their show on the road for a pair of Friday matches before taking on UTEP at home on Sunday, looking to stay perfect on the season as UNM is off to a 6-0 start.

To stay that way they will have to take a Friday doubleheader which will start with a morning match at UC Riverside and conclude with a match at UC Irvine.  The Lobos take on Riverside at 10 a.m. and will be looking for a seventh straight win.  UNM has gotten contributions up and down the lineup, but none moreso than Katherine Jhang, who twice in three games has provided the winning point in a 4-3 match with the matches against both Northern Arizona and Gonzaga tied at 3.

UC Riverside enters the match with UNM 1-8, having lost its first six before a win over Ottawa.  After the match, UNM will hit the road right after the match and make the short trip to UC Irvine to face the Anteaters.  UCI is 2-5 on the season with one of those wins a 6-1 victory over Riverside.

After the Friday matches, UNM returns home for a Sunday match at 11 am with UTEP.  The Miners are 1-7 on the year dropping seven straight after a 7-0 season-opning win over Western New Mexico.
