No. 25 New Mexico Returns to Action Tuesday at Wyoming
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The No. 25 New Mexico men’s basketball team returns to action Tuesday with a visit to Wyoming. Game time in Laramie is 6:30 p.m. and the game will air on the Mountain West Network and the Lobo Radio Network.
The Lobos are 18-4 this season, 6-3 in the Mountain West, and are ranked nationally for the third straight week, their longest stretch since the end of the 2013-14 season. New Mexico is coming off an 86-78 loss to Boise State last week in The Pit, which snapped its five-game win streak. Donovan Dent scored a career-high 31 points against the Broncos
Wyoming is 12-10 overall, 5-4 in the Mountain West, and is unbeaten at home (4-0) this season in conference play. The Cowboys split a road trip last week, winning at Air Force before falling at UNLV. In their last home game, they rallied from down 11 with one minute to play to down No. 24 Colorado State in overtime.
New Mexico has won four of the last five meetings, including the first matchup this season. On Jan. 6 at The Pit, the Lobos downed the Cowboys 77-60 behind 21 points from Dent.
The Lobos will return home on Saturday when they host UNLV at The Pit. Game time is 6:00 p.m. and the game will air on CBS Sports Network. Less than 1,000 tickets remain for that contest, so fans should buy theirs now at GoLobos.com/tickets.
