ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The No. 19 New Mexico men’s basketball team looks to remain unbeaten at home this season as it concludes a two-game homestand Wednesday night against Boise State. Game time at The Pit is 8:30 p.m. and the game will air on FS1 and the Lobo Radio Network.

Wednesday’s game is the Lobos’ annual diaper drive, collected by UNM Health. Drop off boxes for diapers will be outside the Lobo Den by the main northeast entrance to The Pit and fans who donate will receive a giveaway from UNM Health.

The Lobos are 18-3 this season, 6-2 in the Mountain West, having won five straight conference games by double digits, their longest such streak since 2011-12. New Mexico is coming off an 89-55 win over Nevada on Sunday night at The Pit. Jaelen House, who was named Mountain West Player of the Week, had 21 points, six assists and six steals in the win over the Wolf Pack.

Boise State is 14-6 overall, 5-2 in the Mountain West, and is unbeaten (3-0) on the road in conference play. The Broncos are coming off a 90-84 overtime loss to league-leading Utah State on Saturday afternoon in Boise. Tyson Degenhart leads Boise State at 15.6 points per game.

The teams split last year’s series, each winning at home. The Lobos posted an 81-79 overtime victory at The Pit as Morris Udeze scored the game-winning layup in the final seconds. The Broncos answered with an 82-77 win in Boise later in the year.

Following the game, the Lobos will have an off weekend before returning to action on Feb. 6 with a trip to Wyoming. Game time in Laramie is 6:30 p.m. and the game will air on the Mountain West Network.
