UNM Closes Homestand with Broncos Sunday
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Lobos finish out a four-match homestand on Sunday against Boise State with a start time of 12:30 p.m. Sunday is designated Club Day with a clinic to be held before the match.
UNM enters the contest coming off of a 2-0 loss to Utah State Thursday night and is 4-3-4 overall and 1-2-2 in conference, while Boise State is 5-2-6 overall, 3-1-1 in conference following a 1-0 loss at San Diego State Thursday.
Historically, UNM has faced Boise State 15 times with the Lobos holding a 9-4-2 record in the series. UNM has won the last three meetings by a combined score of 5-1 and the last time the two teams met, UNM won 2-0 with Brynn Boeyink assisting on the first goal in the seventh minute. BSU outshot UNM 13-9, but UNM had a 5-4 edge in shots on goal.
UNM is 3-0-2 in Albuquerque and has outscored BSU 5-2 in home matches with four shutouts. The Lobos are 4-3-2 against Boise State under Coach Heather Dyche.
