ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—Conference play resumes on Sunday as the Lobos face Air Force, with a scheduled start time of 1:30 p.m. The match will be streamed on the Mountain West Network for those unable to attend in person.
UNM enters the contest 3-2-4, 0-1-2 in MW play while Air Force enters 4-5-1, 1-1-1 in the MW. The Lobos have faced Air Force 31 previous times with the Lobos holding a 20-10-1 advantage in the series. New Mexico is 4-1-0 in the last five meetings and 6-3-1 in the last 10. Further, UNM is 11-4-1 at home and has won the last three matches in Albuquerque, and also holds a 10-match win streak against AF from Oct. 10, 2004 to Oct. 13, 2013 and a 12-match unbeaten streak that extended to Oct. 25, 2015.
In the last five matches, UNM has outscored Air Force 10-4 with four shutouts. The Lobos are 6-3-0 and have outscored the Falcons 16-7 under Coach Heather Dyche.
LAST TIME RECAP
In the last match on Thursday, UNM outshot CC 24-10 and 11-5 in shots on goal, falling 2-1. Natalie DeGagne led with a career-high 10 shots and four shots on goal and accounted for the Lobos’ goal in the 70th minute for her first goal of the season.
The last time the Lobos faced the Falcons, the teams combined for one shot on goal in the first 45 minutes of play, and in the second half, the Lobos scored twice in a seven-minute span to take control of the match. Each team recorded 14 shots in the contest, while the Lobos had a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal and a 7-4 edge in corner kicks. Alli Davis made one save in goal to post the shutout for UNM.

UNM had 17 against Colorado and San José State, 18 at San Diego and 19 against Northern Arizona and Cal State Fullerton. UNM had 15 against NMSU and 14 against Fresno State giving the Lobos 10+ in the last eight matches.
Of those, 11 were on goal against Colorado College, eight were on goal at San Diego and nine were on goal against Cal State Fullerton and NMSU.
UNM has had the advantage in shots in seven of the last eight matches (19/9 vs. NAU, 19/10 vs. CSF, 18/7 vs. USD, 15/8 vs. NMSU, 17/15 at SJSU, 14/7 at FS and 24/10 vs. CC) and in shots on goal in five of the last seven (9/2 vs. CSF, 8/6 vs. USD, 9/6 vs. NMSU, 4/2 at FS, 11/5 vs. CC).
The Lobos rank second in the MW in shots per match at 16.22, only behind Air Force at 16.40. UNM currently ranks 44th in the NCAA in shots per game.
Natalie DeGagne leads with nine shots on goal, followed by Presley Devey at seven, while DeGagne also leads with 28 shots. DeGagne had a career-high 10 shots and career-high four shots on goal against CC. DeGagne is third in the MW and 70th in the NCAA in shots per game at 3.11.

Alli Davis currently ranks 44th in the NCAA in save % (.833) and ranks first in the MW in save percentage and second in GAA (0.993), tied for third in shutouts, fourth in saves per match and tied for fifth in total saves. Davis has made 40 saves this season, allowing eight goals in 696 minutes with two shutouts and a combined shutout.
She has twice recorded eight saves this season (vs. Texas Tech and Colorado). In her two years in net, Davis has made 108 saves and carries a save % of .837 and a GAA of 0.79.
