New Mexico Continues Play at Schooner Fall Classic
NORMAN, Okla. – The New Mexico women’s golf team continued play Sunday at the Schooner Fall Classic, taking on an elite field at Belmar Golf Club. The Lobos shot 11-over during the second round to sit in 12th place at 21-over through 36 holes.
Reigning NCAA Champion Wake Forest continues to hold the lead, with a 20-under total through two rounds. Virginia Tech is second at 6-under, with Florida State and Houston tied for third at even par.
Lauren Lehigh shot an even par 70 on Saturday to lead the Lobos. She is 2-over for the tournament. Myah McDonald shot a 2-over 72, while Lisa-Marie Pagliano shot a 3-over 73 during the second round. Maria Caparros Levin and Rebecca Galasso each shot 76 to round out the UNM lineup.
The tournament will conclude Monday at Belmar Golf Club in Norman.
