Saturday’s game at Air Force postponed
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Due to unplayable conditions at Falcon Field on Saturday, the scheduled baseball game between New Mexico and Air Force was postponed the teams announced on Saturday morning.
The game will be made up on Sunday, with an 11 a.m. first pitch scheduled for a doubleheader. The teams were originally scheduled to play the third and final game of the series on Sunday at noon, and will move up that start time by one hour to fit in Saturday’s postponed game.
Air Force (17-23, 10-9 MW) took Game 1 of the series 9-6 on Friday afternoon to even the season series between the teams at 2-2. New Mexico’s record sits at 18-15 overall and 6-9 in league play entering Sunday’s doubleheader.
