PHOENIX, Ariz. – The New Mexico women’s golf team continued play on Saturday at the PING/ASU Invitational with the second round at the Papago Golf Course. The Lobos shot 8-over during the second round to move up to T-15th place at 29-over amongst a field where every team is ranked in the Golfstat top 100.
Northwestern continues to lead at 12-under through 36 holes. Host Arizona State is the only other team under par at 4-under. Baylor (1-over), Mississippi State (2-over) and Oregon (4-over) round out the top five.
Maria Caparros Levin had the best round of the day for the Lobos, carding an even par round of 72. Myah McDonald shot 74 on Saturday, while Lisa-Marie Pagliano and Jenny Lertsadwattana each shot 75 in the second round. Lauren Lehigh shot 77 to round out the lineup and Annie Saechueng shot 78 while playing as an individual.
The PING/ASU Invitational will conclude Sunday at the Papago Golf Course.
