Fan Guide for New Mexico Basketball at The Pit
#22 SAN DIEGO STATE at NEW MEXICO | 8:00 p.m. | SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25 | THE PIT
Saturday’s men’s basketball game against No. 22 San Diego State at The Pit has been sold out for weeks. In order to help all fans, whether they have been to a game recently or not, have a great experience, below is information to remember as you plan your visit.
Please review the information below as you plan your visit to The Pit. Click on the maps for your parking location.
- There are new screening procedures, including metal detectors and wanding, when you enter The Pit. This causes longer entry times so fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early to avoid lines and have a quicker entry
- Gates will open 90 minutes before tip at 6:30 p.m. (Gates will now open 90 minutes early for all home men’s basketball games this season to help fans avoid lines at entry)
- There will be six gates for fans to enter The Pit on Saturday (NE, SE, SW, NW and two N)
- Ticket and Parking Information
- Fans are encouraged to save time by downloading tickets and parking to their mobile wallet prior to arrival
- Isotopes C Lot is NOT Available for Parking.
- STP Dirt Lot is Closed and will NOT have access to park in it.
- See parking maps below to determine your lot and the quickest route to enter that lot to avoid delays
- General Entry Information
- Doors will open 90 Minutes early for this game (6:30 PM) and fans are encouraged to take advantage of this to reduce the amount of lines at the door.

- Fans are no longer required to wear face masks, provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative status to attend games at The Pit.

- Lobo football legend and two-time Super Bowl Champion Robin Cole will be signing autographs on the concourse from 7-8:30 pm, thanks to All In Autographs
