ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team will open the spring portion of its schedule Monday-Tuesday as it travels to California for the San Diego State Classic. The event will be at the 6,329-yard, par-72 The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe.

The tournament will play 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Live scoring of the event will be on Golfstat.com.

This year’s tournament features 12 schools, including 11 teams ranked currently in the GolfStat top 100. The Lobos, at No. 56, are joined by No. 29 Houston, No. 30 Iowa State, No. 39 Georgia, No. 50 Denver, No. 54 Oregon State, No. 67 Colorado, No. 71 UNLV, No. 82 BYU, No. 88 Washington State, host No. 92 San Diego State and UC Davis.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Napat “Jenny” Lertsadwattana, Lauren Lehigh, Myah McDonald, Lisa-Marie Pagliano, and Chloe Lauer.

The event is the fifth of the season for New Mexico. The Lobos finished in the top three at two of their four events of the fall, including at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, where Lertsadwattana won the individual title.
