The Lobos (19-5, 6-5 MW) are looking to snap a two-game losing streak and reach the 20-win milestone for the 28th time in program history and the first time since 2013-14. New Mexico is coming off a 77-76 loss to Nevada on Tuesday night at The Pit as the Wolf Pack scored the game-winning basket with 0.1 seconds remaining. Jamal Mashburn, Jr. had his 11th 20-point game of the season in that game and leads the Mountain West in scoring at 19.5 ppg.

Air Force (12-13, 3-9 MW) is looking to snap a six-game losing streak and is coming off a 69-53 home loss to Colorado State on Tuesday night. Jake Heidbreder leads the Falcons in scoring at 14.0 ppg.

New Mexico leads the all-time series 65-25, including a 23-18 mark at Clune Arena. The Lobos have won the last three meetings, sweeping the season series last year and winning this year’s first matchup at The Pit, 81-73, on Jan. 27. In the last meeting at the Academy, the Lobos won 91-77 last year as Jaelen House scored a career-high 42 points, the most points by a USAFA opponent since 1995.

New Mexico will return home on Feb. 14 when it hosts Wyoming. Game time at The Pit is 8:00 p.m. and the game will air on CBS Sports Network. Tickets for that game are on sale at GoLobos.com/tickets.
