ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The New Mexico men’s basketball team caps a two-game homestand Friday night by hosting reigning Mountain West champion Boise State. Game time at The Pit is 9 p.m. and the game will air on FS1 and the Lobo Radio Network.

Over 12,000 tickets have been sold as of Thursday afternoon, so fans are reminded to arrive early to avoid delays entering the arena. Gates will open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets and parking can be purchased now at GoLobos.com/tickets.

The Lobos (17-2, 4-2 MW) are coming off a 77-57 victory over San Jose State on Tuesday night at The Pit, their largest margin of victory in a conference game in three seasons. Jaelen House, who was named to the USBWA Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List on Thursday, had 20 points in the win, as did Jamal Mashburn, Jr. Morris Udeze had 17 points and 14 rebounds against the Spartans for his fourth straight double-double.

Boise State (15-4, 5-1 MW) is tied for the conference lead and enters the game on a five-game win streak, the last four by double digits. Tyson Degenhart and Marcus Shaver, Jr. lead the Broncos, each at 13.6 ppg.

The Lobos lead the all-time series 12-9, including a 7-3 mark at The Pit. The Broncos have won the last four meetings including last season at The Pit, 71-63, in the only meeting between the teams.

New Mexico will visit Nevada on Monday before closing out its January schedule a week from Friday (Jan. 27) against Air Force at The Pit.
