ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The New Mexico men’s basketball team returns home Tuesday night to host San Jose State in a battle of teams tied for fourth place in the Mountain West standings. Game time at The Pit is 7 p.m. and the game will air on FS1 and the Lobo Radio Network.

The game is the annual Lobos Love Pink Night at The Pit, presented by UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are on sale now, beginning at $15. Fans can also get $30 off a three-pack of January games with tickets for Tuesday’s game, along with Friday vs. Boise State and Jan. 27 vs. Air Force.

The Lobos (16-2, 3-2 MW) are coming off a 76-67 victory at No. 23 San Diego State on Saturday night, their first ranked road win in a decade. Jaelen House led New Mexico with a season-high 29 points and was recognized as Mountain West Player of the Week for his play in that win and the victory over Oral Roberts. Morris Udeze had 10 points and a career-high 15 rebounds against the Aztecs, his sixth double-double of the season.

San Jose State (12-6, 3-2 MW) has already eclipsed its overall and conference win total from last season and opened Mountain West play 2-0 for the first time since joining the league. The Spartans are led by Omari Moore, who averages 15.1 ppg and had a triple-double last season against UNM in San Jose.

The Lobos lead the all-time series 18-5, including a 10-1 mark at The Pit. The teams split two games last season, each winning on their home court. In the meeting in Albuquerque, the Lobos won 86-70 behind 18 points and a career-high 13 assists from House. The Spartans won the rematch in San Jose, 71-55.

New Mexico will complete the homestand on Friday by hosting Boise State. Game time at The Pit is 9 p.m. MT and the game will air on FS1.
