Sunday’s men’s basketball game against Iona is expected to be the largest crowd at The Pit in recent years. As of Friday afternoon over 13,000 tickets had been distributed. In order to help all fans, whether they have been to a game recently or not, have a great experience, below is information to remember as you plan your visit.
- There are new screening procedures, including metal detectors and wanding, when you enter The Pit. This causes longer entry times so fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early to avoid lines and have a quicker entry
- Gates will open 90 minutes before tip at 3:00 p.m. (Gates will now open 90 minutes early for all home men’s basketball games this season to help fans avoid lines at entry)
- On Sunday, there will be two additional gates on the north side of The Pit for fans to enter (Six total: NE, SE, SW, NW and two N)
- Support the Lobos by wearing CHERRY! The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive spirit shakers
- Fans who enter the arena from 3–4 pm will receive a voucher good for a Lobo Dog and 24oz Soda for just $7 (Over 30% Savings)

- Ticket fees are the same whether tickets are bought online, over the phone or in person.
- The University Arena Ticket Office will open at 3 p.m. on Sunday for ticket sales and will call.
- Fans are encouraged to save time by downloading tickets and parking to their mobile wallet prior to arrival.

- STP Dirt Lot is Closed and will NOT have access to park in it.
- General Entry Information
- Doors will open 90 Minutes early for this game (3 PM) and fans are encouraged to take advantage of this to reduce the amount of lines at the door.

- Fans are no longer required to wear face masks, provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative status to attend games at The Pit.
