ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A.J. Haulcy, a true freshman that earned Second Team All-Mountain West honors on Tuesday, picked up another honor as he was named to the Pro Football Focus True Freshman All-America team.  He is the first Lobo to earn the honor.

Haulcy, who led all true freshmen in tackles with 87, recorded 24 tackles against Fresno State, the most by any player in a game since 2019, and the most by any player against a non-option team since 2007.  Haulcy finished with 3.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, three PBUs, two forced a fumbles and a fumble recovery.  Haulcy was twice named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week.
