UNM 2023 MW Softball Schedule Announced
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Mountain West portion of the 2023 Lobo Softball schedule will begin on the road at Utah State with the conference home opener scheduled for the weekend of March 24, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
In head coach Nicole Dickson’s first season at UNM, the Lobos will host San José State (March 24-26), Boise State (April 6-8), Colorado State (April 15-16) and Nevada (April 28-30), and will travel to Utah State (March 17-19), Fresno State (March 31- April 2), San Diego State (April 21-23) and UNLV (May 5-6). The Colorado State series and UNLV series will be two games while the rest will be three games.
In total, New Mexico will play 11 MW home games and 11 MW road games, with a five-game home stretch between April 6 and April 16 with Boise State and Colorado State.
This will be the first year since 2006 that the Mountain West will hold a conference tournament, scheduled for May 11-14 in San Diego, California.
The non-conference portion of the schedule will be released at a later date.
