ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s soccer team opens a four-game homestand on Thursday by hosting Fresno State. The Lobos and Bulldogs will kick-off at 7:30 p.m. at the UNM Soccer Complex in a game that will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network.

Thursday’s game is Club Night at the UNM Soccer Complex. Youth club teams are invited to attend, with players wearing their club jerseys getting free admission. There will be a postgame autograph session with the Lobos, weather permitting.

The Lobos (3-3-5, 1-1-2 MW) are coming off a 3-0 loss at Colorado College on Sunday, which snapped their five-match unbeaten streak. New Mexico is tied for sixth place in the Mountain West standings as just three points separate all 12 teams in the conference standings. Jadyn Edwards is tied for the conference lead with seven goals and 16 points this season.

The Bulldogs (1-8-3, 1-2-1 MW) are coming off their first win of the season, a 1-0 victory over Nevada on Sunday. Kassandra Ceja leads Fresno State with four goals this season.

New Mexico leads the all-time series 6-3-3, including a 3-1-1 record in Albuquerque. UNM is unbeaten in the last five meetings of the series (3-0-2), including a 2-1 victory in Fresno last season. The Bulldogs haven’t visited Albuquerque since 2019, when the teams played to a 2-2 draw.

The four-game homestand continues on Sunday when the Lobos host San Jose State. Game time for that contest is 1 p.m.
