ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— Lobo fans can get a glimpse of the 2022-23 New Mexico women’s basketball team on Saturday, Oct. 15 with the Cherry and Silver Scrimmage, presented by Bud Light and Presbyterian Health.
Admission and parking is free and concessions will be available for purchase at the event.
Starting at 10 a.m. in The Pit, fans will be introduced to the team and can take in a scrimmage between the team. Following the scrimmage, the team will sign autographs to close out the event.
UNM has two exhibitions at home, with the first one on Oct. 29, and opens its season on the road at Southern Utah on Nov. 7 before their home opener against Houston on Nov. 12. In total, the Lobos have 18 home games on the schedule including two exhibitions, nine conference games and seven non-conference games, with Arizona, Arizona State, New Mexico State and the aforementioned Houston on the schedule.
Season tickets go on sale on Monday, Oct. 3 on golobos.com/tickets. Season tickets start at $110, with chairback seating at $220.
The Lobos finished 26-10 overall and 14-4 in conference last season, going 17-1 at home, and return three starters and eight players who saw playing time from a season ago. In the offseason, the Lobos rounded out the roster with the additions of three transfers and four freshmen. The Lobos have local talent on the roster, featuring five New Mexico natives.
