Cherry Fridays at Albertsons Means Tickets and Gear!
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It’s a tradition in the state … Cherry Friday. Now, while you can always wear your Cherry shirts on Friday to celebrate the Lobos and get ready for a weekend of sports action, UNM Athletics has partnered with Albertsons to bring Cherry Friday to Albertsons throughout the Metro area, and you can now hang out and meet the talent with your favorite Cumulus Radio Stations, and get free tickets and gear! All the fun and action starts at 11 am each Friday at Albertsons.
Throughout the 2022 Football Season, fans will be able to head to various Albertsons Markets and stores throughout the Albuquerque metro area to pick up free t-shirts and tickets while supplies last. On each Cherry Friday, starting this week on August 26, UNM, Albertsons and Cumulus Media will be distributing 100 t-shirts and 200 tickets to games each week while supplies last. Fans will also be able to meet their favorite local DJs on remote from various stations including 92.3 KRST Country, 610 AM/95.9 KNML The Sports Animal, 770 AM/96.3 News Radio KKOB, Magic 99.5 KMGA, and 93.3 The Q KOBQ.
