My50 To Broadcast Opener, UTEP Games
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico’s season opener against Maine and the September 17 game against UTEP, both kicking off at 6 p.m., will be broadcast locally at My50-TV, and the games will both be available for streaming on the Mountain West Network. The announcement was made by UNM Sports Properties, UNM’s multi-media rights holder.
Jeff Siembieda, who serves as the Executive Director of the New Mexico Bowl and has an award-winning morning show “The Opening Drive” on KNML 610 AM/95.9 FM will handle the play-by-play on both broadcasts, with George Carter joining on analysis.
Last year My50-TV also broadcast UNM’s season opening win against Houston Baptist via the Mountain West Network.
“We are excited to work with My50-TV and Proview Networks to bring our season opener and a great regional rivalry game to the airwaves throughout the state and across the nation via the Mountain West Network,” Said Dani Belinski, general manager for UNM Sports Properties. “The 2022 season is going to be full of excitement and we hope to see a packed University Stadium for these games on the air.”
The addition means that all 12 games for the Lobos will be broadcast.
