Game Times Set for Season Opener vs. Maine, UTEP
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — As Mountain West Football Media Days commence in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino with Lobo head coach Danny Gonzales making the rounds on Wednesday, UNM has announced game times for a pair of home games.
The 2022 season opener against Maine on September 3 as well as the Saturday, September 17 game against UTEP will kick-off at 6 pm at University Stadium. The games are two of the opening three games of the season that are all at home for UNM.
Lobo season tickets are on sale now, and fans have a variety of options to not miss any of the action of the 2022 season. Fans can head to www.golobos.com/2022FBSeasonTix to lock in seats for as low as $86. Additionally, fans can head to www.sportsanimalabq.com and click the Sweet Deals tab for a great buy on season tickets, getting two-for-one season tickets for either $139 or $99.
Spring camp for the Lobos opens on August 4 with initial meetings and intake, with the opening practice on August 5. UNM returns 13 starters, including seven on the defensive side of the ball that finished in the top 50 nationally in defense for the first time in 14 years. UNM also adds three new quarterbacks on the offensive side of the ball, a side which also features a retooled offensive line.
