Taylor Snow Signs with UNM Softball
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— University of New Mexico head softball coach Nicole Dickson is wasting no time in getting to work building the 2023 roster, securing her first signee as the Lobo head coach.
Taylor Snow, a right-handed pitcher from Columbia, Louisiana, joins the Lobos after spending her freshman season at Louisiana. While she didn’t make any appearances for the Ragin’ Cajuns, Snow was a standout pitcher in high school, finishing her high school career as a three-time first team all-state and all-district pitcher at LaSalle High School, winning the state title as a freshman and finishing runner-up in two other seasons.
Her junior year, Snow garnered MVP honors as a two-way player, going 25-4 in the circle with a 0.71 ERA, throwing 215 strikeouts in 163 innings of work, and batted .405 with seven home runs and 39 RBI. In addition, she threw 10 shutouts, four no-hitters and a perfect game. As a freshman, the RHP threw a perfect game, two shutouts and a no-hitter in the Louisiana State postseason and was named the Louisiana 1A State Tournament MVP. During her high school career, Snow struck out a total of 575 batters.
