Lobo Women Move Up to No. 13 in USTFCCCA Week 9 National TFRI

NEW ORLEANS – The University of New Mexico women’s track & field team moved up two spots to No. 13 in the USTFCCCA’s Week 9 National Track & Field Rating Index, announced the organization on Monday.

This week’s ratings were based solely on the marks/times that were declared and accepted into the NCAA field. The Lobos have 12 accepted entries in the field, totaling 126.37 points in the team summary.

21 Lobos were selected last week by the NCAA committee to compete in the West preliminary round, set for May 25-28 in Fayetteville, Ark. The top 12 competitors in each event will advance to the NCAA Championships, which are set for June 8-11 in Eugene, Ore.
