Sixty-Nine Lobos Graduate in Spring Ceremony
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — There were a lot of events going on at The University of New Mexico’s athletic campus this week, with a host of NMAA championships and Lobo softball as well as plenty of UNM graduation events. However, for 69 of UNM’s student-athletes, the 2022 Stole Ceremony will undoubtedly be the highlight of the weekend.
Student-athletes from most UNM programs took part (save those that were competing) in the ceremony put on by UNM Athletics and held in the Davalos Practice Center next to The Pit. Chris Baca served as the master of ceremonies for evening, which featured dinner and then a recognition ceremony where each student-athlete received a gift. Many coaches and administrators were on hand as well to give our student-athletes a proper send off on the achievement of graduation.
