AZUSA, Calif. / WALNUT, Calif. – The University of New Mexico track & field team is prepared to compete in two meets this week.

The Bryan Clay Invitational is hosted by Azusa Pacific University and is set for Wednesday-Friday in Azusa, Calif. 32 Lobos will be competing in this meet, starting with Elise Thorner in the women’s steeplechase at 6:45 p.m. (PT) on Wednesday.

Five Lobos will also be competing at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., on Friday. Rivaldo Leacock will compete in the 400m hurdles event at 1:55 p.m. (PT). Later, Victor Akhalu, Jevon O’Bryant and Jovahn Williamson will run in the 400m dash at 3 p.m. Gavin Sleeter is set to compete in the 800m run at 3:55 p.m. The men’s 4x400m relay at 5:45 p.m. will close out the events that the Lobos are competing in at the meet.
