DALLAS, Texas – The New Mexico women’s golf team begins a busy March schedule by traveling to Dallas for the Trinity Forest Invitational. The tournament, hosted by SMU, will be held at the 6,460-yard, par-72 Trinity Forest Golf Club.

The first two rounds of the tournament will be played on Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. CT. The final round will be Tuesday, starting with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.com.

The 15-team field includes nine teams currently ranked in the top 100 of the Golfstat rankings. The No. 67 Lobos will be competing against top-60 foes Texas Tech (No. 23), UNLV (No. 38) and UTSA (No. 52). Host SMU, Dallas Baptist, Memphis, New Mexico State, Northern Illinois, Texas State, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, USF and UTEP round out the field.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Napat “Jenny” Lertsadwattana, Myah McDonald, Lauren Lehigh, Chloe Lauer and Caroline Jansson.

The event is the second of the spring for New Mexico, who finished eighth at The Show at Spanish Trail last month. Following the Trinity Forest Invitational, the Lobos will travel to Arizona for the Clover Cup, held in Mesa, Friday-Sunday.
