LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The New Mexico women’s golf team concluded play Tuesday at The Show at Spanish Trail, hosted by UNLV and Furman at the Spanish Trail Country Club. The Lobos shot 29-over in windy conditions during the final round to finish in eighth place at 39-over.
Host UNLV won the event at 4-under, the only team to finish the tournament under par. Nevada was second at 9-over and Augusta was third at 17-over.
Jenny Lertsadwattana was the top individual finisher for the Lobos, shooting 77 on Tuesday to finish T-9th on the individual leaderboard at 4-over. Chloe Lauer finished at 11-over, Myah McDonald finished at 12-over and Lauren Lehigh finished at 13-over to round out the scoring four for New Mexico. Annie Saechueng finished at 19-over, while Lisa-Marie Pagliano finished at 10-over while playing as an individual.
The Lobos return to action March 7-8 with the Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas.
