ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Lobos concluded their home stretch of the 2021-22 indoor regular season on day two of the Don Kirby Elite Invitational at the Albuquerque Convention Center. This meet concluded four straight weekends of home meets for New Mexico.

In the women’s mile, Abbe Goldstein earned the 15th spot nationally* with an altitude-adjusted time of 4:35.72. She improved on her previous mile time by over a second (4:36.97). Elise Thorner also currently ranks 26th* in the mile with a time of 4:36.99 (altitude-adjusted).

The Lobos are set to compete in their final meet of the indoor regular season, the Arkansas Qualifier next weekend on Feb. 18, before coming home to host the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 24-26.
