Lobos Conclude Road Trip with Visit to Air Force

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico men’s basketball team concludes a two-game road trip Saturday as it visits Air Force. Tipoff at Clune Arena is 6:00 p.m. MT and the game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network and the Lobo Radio Network.
The Lobos (8-14, 1-8) are coming off a 72-47 loss at San Diego State on Monday night. KJ Jenkins had 16 points and a season-high nine rebounds to lead UNM against the Aztecs. Jamal Mashburn, Jr. leads New Mexico in scoring at 17.7 points per game, having scored in double figures in 21 of 22 games this season.
Air Force (10-10, 3-6) is coming off a 73-46 loss at Utah State on Tuesday. The Falcons are 6-3 at home this season, including a 2-3 mark in Mountain West play. AJ Walker leads Air Force in scoring at 15.4 points per game.
New Mexico leads the all-time series 62-25, including a 23-19 edge in Colorado Springs. The teams met twice last season at Clune Arena, with the Lobos winning 73-65 before the Falcons split the series with a 62-55 win two days later.
Following the game, the Lobos will have 10 days before its next Mountain West contest, hosting Wyoming on Feb. 15 at The Pit.
