ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico men’s basketball team begins a two-game road trip Monday as it visits San Diego State. Tipoff at Viejas Arena is 8:00 p.m. MT (7:00 p.m. PT) and the game will be broadcast on FS1 and the Lobo Radio Network.
The Lobos (8-13, 1-7) are coming off their first Mountain West win of the season, am 86-70 victory over San Jose State on Friday night at The Pit. Jaelen House had 18 points and a career-high 13 assists for his first career double-double. Jamal Mashburn, Jr., the Lobos’ leading scorer at 18.0 points per game, had a game-high 23 points, his ninth 20-point game of the season.
San Diego State (11-5, 3-2) have not played since a 75-57 loss at Utah State on Wednesday. The Aztecs are 8-1 at home this season and are led by Matt Bradley, who averages 16.1 points per game.
The Lobos conclude the road trip on Feb. 5 with a visit to Air Force. That game tips at 6 p.m. and airs on CBS Sports Network.
