NEW ORLEANS – The Lobo women’s track & field team was ranked No. 28 on USTFCCCA’s first National Rating Index of the season, announced the organization on Monday.

Because the Lobos only competed in two indoor meets in the 2021 season, they were never listed on USTFCCCA’s national rating index. The last time they ranked was on March 9, 2020, when they ranked No. 18.

The Lobos currently have 28.54 points, thanks to great performances by Elise Thorner in the 3000m run and Adva Cohen, Emma Heckel, Gracelyn Larkin, Andrea Modin Engesaeth, Amelia Mazza-Downie and Stefanie Parsons in the 5000m run.
