ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – In Top Drawer Soccer’s yearly postseason player rankings, Jadyn Edwards earned No. 75 on the Upperclassmen Top 100 Player Rankings and Zaria Katesigwa earned No. 90 on the Freshman Top 100 Player Rankings, announced the organization this week.

This is the first time in program history that a Lobo women’s soccer player made it to the top 100 postseason player rankings list by Top Drawer Soccer.

Edwards earned the No. 75 spot in the national player rankings, after dominating the offense for New Mexico this season, leading the team and conference in goals (11), shots (88), shots on goal (38) and points (31). This is her fifth award based on her performance on the pitch this season, also earning United Soccer Coaches’ All-Pacific Region First Team, All-Mountain West First Team and MW Offensive Player of the Year, as well as All-Tournament Team after the Lobos were named the MW Tournament Champions.

Katesigwa earned the No. 90 spot in the national freshman rankings, following an incredible freshman season in which she had 10 goals and 30 shots (19 on goal). In her debut season, she earned a multitude of awards as she was named the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year, All-Mountain West Second Team and MW Tournament MVP.
