Lobo Women's Basketball Non-Conference Schedule Released

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—  After the Mountain West announced the conference schedule on Friday, the non-conference portion of the 2021-22 season is ready to be released and features some highlights for Lobo fans to look forward to.

UNM hosts the first game of the season against Lamar on Tuesday, Nov. 9, in a series of home games for the Cherry and Silver that include Northern New Mexico (Nov. 12) and Prairie View A&M (Nov. 16).

Other home games on the schedule include Houston Baptist (Nov. 23), Grambling State (Nov. 30), New Mexico State (Dec. 3) and UTEP (Dec. 19).

While road games, the Lobos will be tested with the likes of Texas Tech and Houston, and close out on the road with the biggest name on the non-conference schedule in 2021 national runner-up Arizona on Dec. 12 in Tucson.

New Mexico will face three NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago in the Wildcats and Stephen F. Austin, who narrowly lost to Georgia Tech in overtime in the first round, along with MW opponent Wyoming.
