UNM To Partner with NOCAP as NIL Platform for Student-Athletes

NOCAP’s Chief Executive Officer, Nicholas Lord, shared “New Mexico’s bill going into effect July 1 puts the Lobos at the forefront of the name, image and likeness movement. New Mexico’s forward-thinking athletic department realized that NOCAP’s comprehensive, open platform was the best option to ensure their student-athletes have the cutting-edge technology and resources necessary to compliantly succeed in the NIL era.”
The state of New Mexico’s Senate Bill 94, sponsored by former Lobo student-athlete Mark Moores, Bill O’Neill and Antonio “Moe” Maestas, will allow for student-athletes to earn revenue from their names, images and likeness.
