Lobos to Host Don Kirby Tailwind Open; Set to Participate in Two More Meets Over the Weekend
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M — The University of New Mexico track and field team is set to have another busy weekend and will first host the Don Kirby Tailwind Open at the Great Friends of UNM Track Stadium on Thursday starting at 9:20 a.m. MT. The Lobos will also be participating in the Drake Relays in De Moines, Iowa, on Friday, and the LSU Alumni Gold in Baton Rouge, La.
Fans will be allowed at a limited capacity for the Don Kirby Tailwind. To purchase tickets to the meet, visit THIS LINK or call the Lobo Ticket Office at (505)-925-5626. Tickets are $8 per person. Groups of ten or more can purchase tickets at a discounted rate by contacting the Lobo Ticket Office during regular business hours. Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm.
Student tickets, free to current UNM students, will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis and can be reserved here. You must have a valid student email or ID to reserve a student ticket.
It is highly encouraged to purchase your tickets online as the Great Friends of UNM Track Stadium will be functioning at a limited capacity in accordance with the current state health order. If available, tickets can be purchased at the gate before the meet. No cash will be accepted at the venue.
