Lobo Football Adds Tennessee Tech for 2023

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico has signed a contract to host Tennessee Tech of the Ohio Valley Conference for UNM’s home opener on September 9, 2025.  It will be the first meeting between the two programs.

The game will be UNM’s second of the 2023 season, following a trip to Texas A&M to open the season on September 2.

The game is the first home game officially scheduled for 2023.  Although no date has been scheduled as of yet, New Mexico will host in-state rival New Mexico State in 2023, as UNM hosts in odd-numbered years.
