Lobos Add Game at Dixie State; Will Host SJSU at Dixie State

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team has announced a new game addition at Dixie State slated for Wednesday, Jan. 13 in St. George, Utah. In addition, the Lobos have set a new location for their series against San José State. The Lobos and the Spartans will face off in St. George at Dixie State on the previously-scheduled dates of Jan. 21 and Jan. 23.

“I want to say thank you so much to Dixie State for providing this opportunity to better the experience of our basketball team during these unusual times,” UNM Head Coach Paul Weir said. “We have had some terrific partnerships with institutions during these past few months and look forward to creating another meaningful connection going forward. We are grateful to all of the people and places who have aided us in this journey and look forward to continuing our fight forward.”

The Lobos will travel to UNLV in Las Vegas, Nev. after playing Dixie State, and will return to St. George for the SJSU series.

Following the above updated schedule information, the new Lobo schedule over the next two weeks is as follows:

Jan. 13 – at Dixie State – 7 p.m. MT

Jan. 16 – at UNLV – 3:30 p.m. MT

Jan. 18 – at UNLV – 7:30 p.m. MT

Jan. 21 – vs San José State – 1 p.m. MT

Jan. 23 – vs San José State – 1 p.m. MT
