COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The University of New Mexico’s football game on December 5 with Wyoming has had its kick time moved back to 8:30 pm Mountain Time.  The change was made due to new COVID-19 guidelines in the state of California.

The game was originally scheduled for 5 p.m. Mountain Time, with Colorado State and San Diego State kicking off at 8:30 pm with both games on CBS Sports Network.  Instead, the two teams have flip-flopped time slots in order to have the game in California end before the state’s new 10 p.m. curfew, which is a part of the new COVID-19 protocols in California.

Additionally, UNM’s final two games, originally slated for University Stadium in Albuquerque, will be played at Sam Boyd Stadium, where UNM has been practicing since November 2.  Kickoff time for the December 12 game with Fresno State will be announced on Monday, November 30.

KICK TIME CHANGES FOR DECEMBER 5:
Colorado State at San Diego State – 4 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network
Wyoming vs. New Mexico (Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas) – 7:30 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network
