UNM’s Home Game vs. Nevada Moved to Sam Boyd Stadium

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —- The University of New Mexico and the Mountain West have announced that the Saturday, November 14 game against the Nevada Wolf Pack will be moved from UNM’s University Stadium in Albuquerque to Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The neutral-site game will have UNM as the host institution.  Sam Boyd Stadium is where UNM has been practicing since Monday, November 2 in preparation for this week’s game at Hawai’i.  The game is being moved due to current state health orders in New Mexico.

The game will not have any fans in attendance.  The game will still kickoff at 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time and 3:30 p.m. in Las Vegas as originally scheduled, and it will be broadcast on FS2.

The game will serve as UNM’s first neutral site game since playing Air Force in Dallas, Texas at the Cotton Bowl on October 15, 2016, a 45-40 Lobo win.  It will be Nevada’s first neutral site game since losing the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl to Ohio 30-21 on January 3, 2020.
