ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team (13-3, 2-1 MW) is set to host the Fresno State Bulldogs (5-10, 1-3 MW) on Tuesday night on ESPNU in a special 9 p.m. matchup inside Dreamstyle Arena – The Pit. 

The Lobos enter Tuesday’s contest coming off of a narrow, three-point loss to San José State (88-85) that ended an eight-win streak however, the Lobos are still riding a 10-0 streak in The Pit this season and look to remain undefeated at home with a win on Tuesday night. 

A win on Tuesday night would make UNM 11-0 at home which the Lobos have not done since the 2005-06 season.

Fresno State broke a three-loss streak on Saturday with a 79-64 win over SJSU at home. Senior New Williams scored a career-high 32 points in the Bulldogs’ win over SJSU, tying a school- and Mountain West-record 10 3-pointers.

The Lobos are led by five players averaging scoring in double figures in MW play including redshirt-senior JaQuan Lyle (23.0), redshirt-senior Carlton Bragg Jr. (16.0), senior Corey Manigault (13.7), redshirt-sophomore Vante Hendrix (13.0) and redshirt-junior Vance Jackson (12.0).

Fresno State is powered by four players scoring in double figures in conference including seniors
New Williams (17.8), Nate Grimes (17.0) and Noah Blackwell (13.5) as well as freshman Orlando
Robinson (12.5).
