“I cannot say enough about the work of our student-athletes in the classroom,” said Director of Athletics Eddie Nuñez. “To have over 75 student-athletes earn a 4.0 GPA is a testament to their hard work and determination. I’m proud of our coaches, but more than anyone, I’m proud of our academic support staff, led by Chris Baca, for emphasizing the importance of academics. Our student-athletes, in conjunction with our academic staff, work very hard on their studies, and this showcases that.”
