ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Fans of New Mexico athletics will notice a change this week as GoLobos.com is getting a new, sleek, state-of-the-art look as part of a new partnership with web provider WMT Digital. The new site to be launched will feature an updated version of the popular official home for Lobo Athletics.

“Our new partnership with WMT and our new GoLobos.com will not only modernize our site, but will also allow fans a whole new experience, especially on mobile platforms, where many of our fans search and take in our content,” said Deputy Athletic Director Dave Williams.

Where fans will immediately notice a difference is on the various mobile platforms, as the new site was designed for a mobile-first user experience.  The new site is part of a systematic revamping of UNM’s external sites that are focusing on the mobile experience, as the university is also partnering with Fan Three Sixty for a new mobile app that will launch later this year.

The new GoLobos.com website will feature many of the same attributes that Lobo fans have grown to expect over the past several years, including the latest stories, news, videos, schedule updates, team rosters and more, but will also include some new features and opportunities.  Overall, fans will enjoy faster loading, better organization and an overall clean and succinct look for GoLobos.com.

The systematic rollout started on Tuesday morning, and Lobo fans will find that their browsers will seamlessly switch to the new GoLobos.com sometime throughout the day on Tuesday or Wednesday.  The overall rollout usually takes the course of approximately 24 hours to repopulate the over 450,000 pages that comprise the GoLobos.com website.
