ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico Athletic Department is partnering with Save The Children Action Network for “Readers Make Leaders” starting Tuesday, June 2 and continuing on Tuesdays through June. The campaign is set to feature Lobo student-athletes taking part in virtual story time events for children in the community.

The first event, set for 3-4 p.m. MT on Tuesday, June 2, will feature at least two Lobo student-athletes including softball’s Andrea Howard and football’s Bryson Carroll. The student-athletes will read to children in the community during the one-hour session as an opportunity for adults and children to participate in fun and engaging activities – all from the comfort and safety of their homes.
