Football Has Finale Slated for Stadium/Facebook

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of New Mexico’s regular season finale against Utah State at 2 p.m. at Dreamstyle Stadium will be broadcast exclusively on Facebook.  The announcement was made by Stadium and the Mountain West as one of seven games on Facebook. This is the third consecutive year the Conference and Stadium have partnered with Facebook and the third straight year UNM will be a featured game.

Last year’s contest at Utah State in Logan was on Facebook, and in 2017, the New Mexico-New Mexico State rivalry game was the third Facebook exclusive on the platform, and the first to surpass one million views during the broadcast.

The game marks the second of six home games to be announced to the broadcast schedule, with two more expected to be announced in the next 24 hours or so.  UNM’s home game on Friday, October 11 against Colorado State will be broadcast nationwide on CBS Sports Network.

The seven-game Stadium/Facebook package features four nonconference contests and three Conference showdowns, of which UNM’s game is a part of a Facebook doubleheader to conclude the regular season.
