FB Single Game Tix On Sale, Online Shoppers Save!
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Lobo football single game tickets for the 2019 season will go on sale today, both online and at the Lobo Ticket Office at Dreamstyle Stadium. As far as single game tickets go, it’s a case of good news, better news, and the best news for Lobo fans as ticket prices will remain the same for 2019 and will be cheaper if fans purchase in advance.
The good news is the 2019 home schedule is a great slate of games, with non-conference matchups with Sam Houston State in the season opener on August 31, and a date with rival New Mexico State in the 110th meeting of the Rio Grande Rivalry on September 21. The home schedule also features regional rivals in Colorado State (October 11), Air Force (Nov. 9) and Utah State (Nov. 30) along with long-standing rival Hawai’i (October 26).
The better news is all single-game ticket prices are the same from 2018, with single-game tickets as low as $18. But the best news? The best news is fans that purchase tickets online will receive an online discount of anywhere from 22-31% for general stadium tickets, and from 7-11% for premium seating area such as the U.S. Bank Zia Club Levels and the U.S. Bank End Zone Club Seats.
“We are excited to utilize our new online ticketing system to benefit our great fanbase,” said Director of Athletics Eddie Nuñez. “We didn’t raise walkup ticket prices from last season, but we want to encourage our fans to purchase online. The best way to do that is to reward those purchases with the discounted rate.”
Making online purchasing easier and more of an incentive was one of the many recommendations to come out of the Lobo Football Fan Engagement Committee meetings, a large focus group made up of fans, boosters and business owners tasked with ideas to improve the Lobo Football gameday experience.
The 2019 football season is the first with UNM’s new ticketing system, Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, fundraising, marketing and analytics solutions for universities. The major benefit of the new system for Lobo fans will be in the online experience, as fans have already seen the ease in purchasing and renewing season tickets for football. Now that same ease will come with the single-game purchasing experience.
“The great thing for our fans is that they can now purchase their single-game tickets in the parking lot on game day, get the discounted rate, and have them sent directly to their mobile devices. They avoid long lines at the ticket window, while getting a substantial discount,” said Joe Thuente, Associate A.D. for Marketing and Communications. “It’s about giving our fans the best of experiences, from the time they get to the parking lot to tailgate with other fans, to entering the stadium and cheering on the Lobos.”
Along with single-game ticket sales, fans and businesses can also pick up group tickets for various sections around Dreamstyle Stadium.
