Friday's Men's Tennis Match Moved to 11 a.m.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s tennis team is so excited for Mountain West play to open up that the match time for Friday has been changed.  The Lobos will host Fresno State in the Mountain West opener for both teams on Friday at 11 a.m. at McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium.  The match was originally scheduled for 4 p.m.

New Mexico has won four of its last five to get to 5-6 on the season.  The Lobos will be playing their sixth straight match at home, and the matchup will be free admission.  Additionally, the morning match will feature free bagels and coffee while it lasts.

UNM has been tearing it up of late, including a shutout win over New Mexico State 4-0, and winning 5-2 on Sunday afternoon against Cal Poly.  That win saw reigning Mountain West Player of the Week Dominic West win his fourth straight singles match. He, Ricky Hernandez Tong and Stepan Holis, who all play in the top three for UNM, each have 15 singles wins.
