ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team is back in action on Saturday night as it hosts Colorado State in a 90’s night rematch at 8 p.m. MT on ESPNU inside Dreamstyle Arena – The Pit.

The Lobos enter Saturday’s contest 11-16 on the season, 5-10 in Mountain West play, while the Rams are 12-16 overall, 7-8 in league competition.

Colorado State is currently riding a three-game win streak including a 76-62 victory over Boise State in Boise on Wednesday night after falling by two points at home to the Broncos on Jan. 29.

UNM redshirt-sophomore Keith McGee is coming off of a career-high contest on the road at San José State on Tuesday. He scored 25 points going 10-for-19 from the floor and 5-for-11 from three-point range. His 25 points marks the fourth-highest total of any Lobo this season behind 30 for redshirt-sophomore Vance Jackson on Feb. 16 against Fresno State, senior Anthony Mathis’ 27 on Jan. 5 against then No. 5/6 Nevada and 27 for Jackson against New Mexico State on Nov. 17.

McGee has led the Lobos in three of the last six games in scoring.

Redshirt-junior Carlton Bragg registered a season-high 16 rebounds on Tuesday to mark his second game of the season tallying 15 or more. The last time a Lobo collected 15 or more boards was on Nov. 21, 2015 when former Lobo Tim Williams achieved the feat at USC.

Senior Anthony Mathis continues to lead UNM in scoring (15.1 ppg) and is just six 3-pointers away from tying the UNM program record of 102 threes in a single season. Mathis currently posts 96 which ranks 13th in the nation.

Colorado State is led by redshirt-junior Nico Carvacho who posts 16.0 points per game on the season.
