Game Day Info: Lobos hosting Air Force

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobos host Air Force on Saturday afternoon at 12:05 p.m.  Air Force won last year 42-24, but UNM has won three straight in Albuquerque against the Falcons.  The game will officially kickoff at 12:05 p.m.  Below are all the important links to let you enjoy the game, whether you are making the trip to Dreamstyle Stadium, following along on social media, watching on ESPN3 or listening to Robert Portnoy.

BUYING TICKETS & COMING TO THE GAME

On Friday, the Ticket Office will open during regular business hours and the   On Saturday, the Ticket Office will open four hours prior to the game.  Fans wanting to purchase tickets on Saturday for the Lobo football game with Air Force can do so at the Ticket Office in Dreamstyle Arena, or at Dreamstyle Stadium’s Northeast Ticket Offices starting at 10 a.m.  Fans getting tickets closer to game time should use the Northwest Corner ticket booths, as there are more windows, which means shorter lines, but this year fans should really get their tickets online to get our online discount!  Fans can buy online and then have their tickets sent to their phones and just scan it in.

Fans should know so far this year, more than 50% of the fans that entered the stadium did so in the Northwest entrance.  Fans can avoid lines by going to the Northeast entrance, Gate 3, or the Southwest entrance.

• Heroes Day

It is always an honor to recognize the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, and those who serve as First Responders.  Don’t miss the display of military might, including helicopters, police cruisers, fire trucks and more in a fully immersive and interactive exhibit in the Howl Zone.  We will swear in new recruits for the Armed Forces at halftime before a special military-themes halftime show.  Additionally, military members will receive discounted tickets at the door.

THE ALL NEW HOWL ZONE  (IT’S FREE!!!!)
The Howl Zone opens at 8 am in the north end of the West lot.  We learned that many fans didn’t know that it’s free to enter the Howl Zone … so yeah, it’s free.  Many Lobo fans want that tailgating experience, without having to schlep coolers and grills and all that can entail, especially on a Friday night … and that’s why we have the Howl Zone!  It’s a great place to tailgate with others without the hassle, and it makes tailgating a community experience.  

Our on-site brewery is the RIO BRAVO BREWING COMPANY, and their portable brewery/patio seating also provides the perfect backdrop for the launch of UNM’s newest beer, Lobo Louie IPA.
